Legend of Zelda Players are Using Cool Tricks to Skip Puzzles

As gamers progress through The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, they gain access to helpful abilities that aid them in their travels. Unsurprisingly, some gamers have begun using these actions in combination to help them skip some of Breath of the Wild’s more challenging puzzles.

As can be seen in the video below, Breath of the Wild players are using Link’s bomb, Stasis, and other abilities in concert to rig up helpful launch pads, allowing them to skip through puzzle levels in the game. The creativity is impressive, and not too difficult once gamers understand how to make use of each of the abilities at Link’s disposal.

It’s hard to fault gamers for their ingenuity. In fact, while some may see this as skirting the system, others will see this as just a different way to solve the puzzles presented in Breath of the Wild. It will be interesting to see if Nintendo does anything in response, such as limiting the abilities players can use in certain situations.

This isn’t the first helpful trick gamers have discovered in the latest Legend of Zelda title. Recently, players discovered a trick that gives their horse infinite stamina, making traversing the Breath of the Wild map much easier. Gamers also discovered that by making use of certain Legend of Zelda amiibo characters, they can gain access to Epona, the iconic horse from the franchise, or a wolf companion.

There’s no arguing that Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece in the gaming world. And the fact that players are finding fun and unique ways to enjoy the game only adds to the wonder available in the open-world Zelda title.

Those who prefer to play the game as it was designed won’t be disappointed in the experience. While skipping puzzles in creative ways is surely enjoyable, it’s nice to play through the title the way Nintendo intended. It’s also worth checking out the documentary Nintendo released for Breath of the Wild that offers gamers an inside look at the making of the game and what makes it so special.
